At Cedar Valley Cheese, extraordinary cheese begins with extraordinary milk. That’s why we partner closely with nearly 100 dedicated dairy farmers from southeastern Wisconsin—some of the most skilled and committed producers in the region. These family farms share our passion for quality, sustainability, and tradition, bringing decades of experience to deliver roughly 50 million gallons of milk to Cedar Valley Cheese each year!

By sourcing fresh milk daily from local herds, we ensure our cheeses are crafted with superior taste and consistency. Our strong relationships with area farmers mean we’re able to invest in local communities and uphold the legacy of Wisconsin’s proud dairy heritage. FEDERAL FARM SURVEY RESULTS

High Quality Milk Doesn't Just Happen By Chance

High quality cheese starts with high quality milk, and at Cedar Valley Cheese we take every step necessary to ensure that the milk we use is of the highest of quality.

To do so, our Cedar Valley Cheese fieldmen work hand-in-hand with our producers to assist in making sure that all producers are abiding by the most up to date rules and regulations regarding health, safety, and cleanliness on the farm.

To assist in assessing compliance with these standards, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) conduct surprise site visits and inspections at Cedar Valley Cheese producers, in what has been called the Federal Farm Survey Program. Cheese Producers who score above a 90% on the Farm Survey are deemed to have "passed".

Cedar Valley Cheese is proud to share that we have passed the Federal Farm Survey on our first attempt for over 25 consecutive years!
